Lovely stay in Polgahawelana 🌴

Flippen huge pool with the swim-up bar was a major highlight! Staff were so friendly, made us feel right at home. The crab curry was lekker and had us coming back for more. Defs keen to revisit!

The drive to Yala was a bit longer than expected, but not a dealbreaker.

Rooms are spacious, and the pool area features a swim-up bar, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring the nearby attractions.

The garden view from the Deluxe King Room offered a nice escape, with greenery adding a relaxing vibe to the stay. The room itself was spacious, providing enough room for a family of four to move around comfortably without stepping on each other's toes.

Had a few issues during the stay. The bathroom in one of the upgraded rooms had noticeable leaks, resulting in workmen being present while we tried to unwind. The towels weren't replaced consistently after housekeeping visits, leaving us short on essentials. the phones within the room weren’t functional for external calls, creating a hassle during communication. Each dining experience turned into a conversation to clarify our family's situation, which became repetitive and slightly tiresome.

The ambiance is captivating with large pools and a beautiful garden, creating a serene escape. The staff's attentiveness, especially from Charith and Amilan, enhances the welcoming atmosphere.

The grounds at Doubletree By Hilton in Polgahawelana are absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and plenty of birds. The presidential villa we stayed in was spacious, featuring modern design and a private pool, which added a luxury touch to our stay. The staff were exceptional, especially Ms. Senuri, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. Dining at the restaurant offered excellent views, but some of the food items were a bit hit and miss, with our vegetarian high tea initially served with meat. the breakfast staff could have been more accommodating. my son was crying due to jet lag, and my wife was asked to leave the buffet area. This was frustrating, especially as the area was not crowded.

Highly Recommend it for Families

Had an really good experience here. The personal service was amazing. A chef came to us to ask about special meal needs for the kids, which was unexpected and excellent.

It wasn’t inexpensive,, but honestly,, it was still acceptable for what we got.

My stay at Doubletree By Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort was delightful! The luxurious accommodations were complemented by exceptional service from the staff, who were attentive and always eager to help. The food selection was varied and the quality was superb.

We loved our stay. The infinity pool overlooking the lake was the highlight, just stunning! The food was lovely, something for everyone. Only downside, the interior spaces were a bit warm. Would’ve preferred cooler dining areas while enjoying those spicy curries!

I had a fantastic stay, with the massive pool being a real standout feature. The food was absolutely delightful, especially the crab curry served at the Red Shank fine dining restaurant, which was a highlight! Our room was also spacious and comfortable, adding to the overall relaxing experience. If there's room for improvement, it would be in the gym facilities, as they seemed quite limited in equipment.

The hotel's design amazed us, blending perfectly with nature. The stunning pool area was lovely, too! We loved our relaxing spa day and the comfortable room was just right for chilling after exploring.

What a stunning place! The serene surroundings made it a super relaxing getaway. Special shoutout to the friendly staff who were always ready to help. I loved how spacious my room was, it really felt like a luxury escape. The only bummer was that some dishes in the buffet could’ve had more flavor. The poolside snack bar was a lovely touch!
